IMPORTANT! To enable the powerdraw Add-ins Tab, you need to open powerdraw templates and drawings from within powerdraw, Opening files directly from File Explorer will not open the Add-ins Tab in the tool bar.

Under the Add-ins tab you will find Command Buttons or ‘Speed Buttons’ to help you save time creating your well schematics. They are listed below, with a brief description or a video to guide you.

Select All Tools:

To control or change a tool icon it has to be selected. You can click on an icon with your mouse to select it, or use your mouse to draw a box around an icon or even a group of icons to select. Once selected, use other Speed Buttons to edit the icons or group of icons.

You can also use the Select All Tools button to quickly select specific groups of icons. There are 2 options.

The first option, is to select the entire drawing (excluding tables). This option will help you then save the entire drawing as an image to put in other programs, such as Word, Excel or PowerPoint. Or you may want to copy this drawing to another powerdraw drawing or template.

The second option is the Select All Tool-string (exclude Casing, etc.) Using this option allows you to work the string as a group. Show Balloons and auto-number them; show Depth Tags and auto-calc the depth; snap the icons together up or down; insert into Product Details table; scale the string and even copy the string to repeat in drawing suck as multi-stage.

You also have the option to Select only the vertical or horizontal strings to work on separately.

While the tool icon or the group of tool icons are selected, you can apply more features to the icons using the other Speed Buttons.
